2014-15 Panini Gold Standard Basketball

Panini is polishing up the 2014-15 release of Gold Standard Basketball for its release in January. New for this year is that every card in Gold Standard is numbered. Each ten-card box will have five autograph or memorabilia cards, including one Rookie Jersey Autograph.

In addition to the traditional Rookie Jersey Autograph cards in 2014-15 Panini Gold Standard Basketball, Panini has added dual and triple swatch versions plus Prime variations that are numbered to 25.

A brand new insert set is the AU autograph cards. The name comes from the atomic symbol for gold on the Periodic Table. AU cards will have on-card signature and are numbered to 79 (the atomic number of gold for you science majors out there). There will be at least four autograph cards in every box, including 14K Autographs.

Panini is promising more memorabilia cards in this year’s release with Good as Gold auto relics and Newly Minted Memorabilia Duals that pair up top NBA rookies.

Of course you can’t have a set called Gold Standard without including some real gold. Look for one-of-one Solid Gold cards made out of real gold and Freshly Minted cards that contain a special gold disc and are numbered to 20.
