2015 Garbage Pail Kids Series 1 preview

Garbage Pail Kids will take us out to the ballgame in 2015 with special baseball-themed inserts in 2015 Garabage Pail Kids Series 1.

Topps is celebrating their 30th anniversary of Garbage Pail Kids with several classic characters featured in new baseball-themed All-Star Stickers (found 1:12 packs) plus a set of ten baseball mascot stickers (1:6 packs). Topps is also paying tribute to GPK turning the big 3-0 with special baseball cards that use the same design as their 1985 Topps Baseball set. There are five existing baseball characters as well as five new ones that will get the 1985 treatment (1:4 packs). Hobby Collectors boxes have exclusive baseball hits, including 1952 Topps Baseball variants of the Baseball Cards and Patch Relics of  GPK team logos.

The base set features 132 cards made up 66 new characters with an A and B name for each. Eleven baseball-themed cards have an additional C-name card that can be found 1:100 packs. Base cards have three levels of parallels: Black (1:2 packs), Silver (Hobby exclusive 1:24 packs) and Gold (85 per subject). Hobby Collector boxes have four more styles of parallels. Metallic Red and Canvas Texture parallels fall one per pack. Sepia and Character Back cards come one per box. An extra eight bonus cards can be found exclusively in hobby boxes.

Sketch Cards, Artist Autographs and Printing Plates are special insert hits. Hobby packs have additional hits with Bonus Stickers and Silver Parallels appearing one per box. There are also 500 Die Cut Sketch Cards from GPK artists.
