2015 Panini Prizm Collegiate Draft Picks Football preview

We previously did a post on Panini’s first two college football releases that will be coming out this spring. Since then Panini has released the first pre-production images for 2015 Prizm Collegiate Draft Picks Football. This is one of Panini’s first releases that utilize the large number of college licensing deals that Panini stockpiled as Upper Deck’s licenses expired.

The set will be highlighted by the appearance of the top two quarterbacks in this year’s draft class, Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston. As you can see in the above pictures both players will have autographs in Prizm Draft Picks Football (as well as Contenders Draft Picks Football). Boxes will contains two autographs.

As indicated by the Prizm name the base cards in the set will have a variety of different colored and patterned parallels. Stained Glass parallels, like the one of Tom Brady shown above, will fall one per box.

Both current NFL players and members of the 2015 draft class will lend their signature to this release. Andrew Luck, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Tony Romo, Odell Beckham, Jr., Richard Sherman and Marshawn Lynch are some of the veteran players that will have Alumnus Autograph cards in Prizm Draft Picks.

The set will also feature special inserts, including die-cut Team Helmet and D-Fense cards.
