DOC’S PRIZED $20M CARD COLLECTION FEAT. RUTH, MANTLE, WAGNER AND MORE HITTING THE AUCTION BLOCK

With the trading card market reaching new heights this past year, there was bound to be collectors that were safekeeping some of the most rare cards in existence.

Dr. Thomas Newman, a Florida doctor, had been a collector since the 1980s. Over the years, he had accumulated a trading card collection that experts say today is worth over twenty-million-dollars.

This ultra-rare collection features some of the best and biggest names, from Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle to Honus Wagner, Ted Williams, Cy Young and more.

Newman unfortunately passed away in January at 73 years of age from complications due to the coronavirus.

His family says they have entrusted Memory Lane Auctions in Tustin, CA to manage what is anticipated to be a record-breaking auction of Newman’s esteemed sports card collection.

Bidding on this incredible collection is set to begin on June 21 and close on July 10.

Happy Bidding!
