Welcome back to another round of The Best Box Break Hits of the Week from the DACW Live Lounge and our team of breakers. Our breaks are streamed live through Twitch, encouraging participants to interact during the break and are always a fun time; when a great card gets pulled, we can’t help but get excited ourselves! That’s the beauty of box breaks – you never know what you’ll get and you can’t help but feel a little adrenaline rush every time there’s a pull. Follow along here on the blog as we will be recapping and showcasing some of the best pulls each week.
So without further ado, here are some of the awesome, rare, and more valuable cards from our box breaks the past week:
We’ll start this edition of the blog with a beautiful 3 color patch auto from the recently crowned Hart Trophy winner Taylor Hall. Coming out of 2017/18 Upper Deck SP Authentic and the Limited Auto Materials set. Nice numbering as well, 25/25!
Next up are a couple of cards from 2018 Topps Museum Collection…that will make Yankess fans happy! First a monster patch auto from Gary Sheffield. The patch looks to be the ‘K’ from the Yankees road jerseys. The breakers also pulled (from the same box no less) a redemption card for a triple autograph of Reggie Jackson, Derek Jeter, and Aaron Judge! Just an amazing box from Topps!
Moving over to the court how about not one but TWO rookie cards from 76ers rookie of the year Ben Simmons! These are the SPs from Panini Studio Basketball. Another one of our frequent guests this past NBA season – Lonzo Ball. The breakers have hit many Ball cards over this past season, this particular one is from the recently released 2017/18 Panini Encased Basketball.
Joining Lonzo in LALA land this Fall will be none other than King James! The breakers hit this amazing one-of-one sketch auto from Upper Deck Master Collection! Just an awesome card and sketch here!
It was another great couple of weeks of hits for our breakers in the lounge.
