Welcome back to another round of The Best Box Break Hits of the Week from the DACW Live Lounge and our team of breakers. Our breaks are streamed live through Twitch, encouraging participants to interact during the break and are always a fun time; when a great card gets pulled, we can’t help but get excited ourselves! That’s the beauty of box breaks – you never know what you’ll get and you can’t help but feel a little adrenaline rush every time there’s a pull. Follow along here on the blog as we will be recapping and showcasing some of the best pulls each week.
So without further ado, here are some of the awesome, rare, and more valuable cards from our box breaks the past two weeks:
We’ll start this edition of the blog with a beautiful 3 color patch from Brazilian soccer superstar Neymar Jr. Although Brazil had a disappointing showing at the World Cup, Neymar still is one of the most desirable names in soccer. This card came out of the X Factor Memorabilia in 2017/18 Panini Select Soccer.
Moving over to the court how about not one not two but THREE amazing autos from some of the best NBA players over the past 15 years – Kobe Bryant, Steph Curry, and John Wall. The ‘Black Mamba’ card comes from 2017/18 Panini Encased Basketball, the Curry is out of 2016/17 Panini Studio Basketball, and finally, the John Wall quad patch auto is from 2016/17 Panini Grand Reserve.
Over to hockey, we have an amazing 2015/16 Upper Deck Ultimate Hockey rookie of Connor McDavid, a very sharp looking nice large two-color jersey and the hard-signed auto as well! The big hockey rookie cards continued in 2017/18 Upper Deck SP Authentic with this Brock Boeser Future Watch auto 236/999!
Our final spotlight in this recap is from one of the top quarterbacks coming out of this years NFL Draft – Josh Rosen of the Arizona Cardinals. This Rookie Jumbo card is from 2018 Panini Gold Standard Football. Rosen and the other 2018 Draft Class quarterbacks should be a popular representation here on the blog as the Summer turns to Fall.
