The 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee set contained 264 standard size color cards. Unopened wax packs contained 8 cards and a stick of gum. Players photos were framed in an oval. Bilingual backs contain the player's year-by-year statistics, a short biography, and a cartoon-illustrated fact about the player. Rookies include Marcel Dionne, Ken Dryden, Butch Goring, Guy Lafleur, Reggie Leach, Richard Rick Martin, and Rick MacLeisch.
