Moderate Play Condition

Cards in Moderate Play condition have moderate wear more severe than Slight Play cards but are still legal for tournament use in opaque backed sleeves. Cards in this grade can include cards with moderate creasing, moderate corner wear, moderate border wear, whitening on either face of the card, slight inking along the back borders, moderate scratching or foil clouding, minor water damage, or slight shuffle creasing.

Heavy Play Condition

Cards in Heavy Play condition show extreme wear, and may not be legal for tournament play, even in a sleeve.
Heavily Played cards include cards that have writing on the back, major creasing, folding, major water damage, moderate to major whitening, major border wear, major inking, tearing, pieces missing out of the card, foil cards with major "silvering" or foil peeling, cards with extensive water damage, and cards with extensive all over wear from excessive play.
Heavily Played cards are any cards that grade worse than Moderately Played.
