One of the toughest and most desirable of the mid-80s Fleer boxed sets, this is the earliest Bonds issue in existence. Most of the boxed sets in this era were of the superstars of the league, not the up and coming rookies featured in similar sets like the Toys 'R Us Rookies. This set, the 1987 Fleer Hottest Stars, was not widely distributed and remains a very tough to find set. We are routinely offered boxes and cases of just about every boxed set from this era at pennies a set, but have never run across more than a handful at a time of this set.
Check out what graded 9s and 10s go for, and you will realize how tough these are to find and how desirable they are.
