The unlimited (white-border) reprint contains revisions to the gametext of most of the 162 cards of the original black-border limited A New Hope expansion (July 1996). The revisions introduce a new standard of language for all upcoming Star Wars CCG card editions, giving players a preview of changes that will come in rules Version 2.0 and Glossary that are being developed for release in Star Wars CCG Special Edition. The "split rarity" system of the original A New Hope (rare one, rare two) remains.
