Garbage Pail Kids Series 2 Wax Box (1985-88 Topps) (BBCE)
Topps produced each Garbage Pail Kids series as a natural group of 88 cards, 44 each of the "a" and "b" variety.
Often the numerical series has fewer than 44 cards, and the additional cards were planned from the beginning as variations.
Usually these "planned" variations show up as different back designs.

The 2nd series had one back variations: cards 42a&b.
Printing also included a double print run for cards 45a&b, bringing the "natural" card count up to 88.

Configuration: 48 Packs Per Box, 5 stickers and one stick of gum per pack
Card Numbers: 42-83
