Topps has been showing off some of the special autographs that will be available in 2015 Allen & Ginter Baseball when it releases next month.
On the baseball side, Topps will be have autographs from Ichiro for the first time in one of their products. The ten-time MLB all-star has signed cards for all three teams he’s played for during his career (Mariners, Yankees and Marlins). Ichiro will appear in more Topps releases later this year, but his debut for the company will be in Allen & Ginter.
Topps has also obtained signatures from Sylvester Stallone and Hulk Hogan as part of a tribute to the Rocky films. Stallone’s cards will feature his image along with name “Balboa” on the card in honor of the title character from the film franchise. Hogan’s card will feature the name “Thunderlips”, which is the name of his character in Rocky III. He has inscribed his character’s name on some of the signed cards as well.
