On Wednesday July 18th as part of our Week of Stars at our Transit location was National Hockey League Hall of Famer Phil Esposito. Phil's 18 year career in the National Hockey League he player for Chicago Black Hawks, Boston Bruins and finally the New York Rangers. During his NHL career he won the Stanley Cup with Boston twice, the Art Ross, Hart, and Lester B Pearson Trophies, played in 10 All Star games and when he retired from hockey in 1981 he was second only to Gordie Howe in all time goals and points in the NHL. But Phil might be most remembered for his appearance for playing for Team Canada in 1972 Summit Series, leading the Canadians to a 4-3-1 series victory against Russians.
