Highlights from the Mets came from home runs in the 6th and 9th innings. In the 6th Floyd homered to right, with Matsui on base. In the 9th back to back home runs came from Cameron and Hidalgo. Highlights for the Cardinals came in the 6th inning when Pujols singled to center sending Renteria to score and Luna's sacrifice fly to the right sending Pujols to score. During the 8th inning Rolen, Sanders and Womack scored, extending their lead upon the Mets.
