- Blastosplosion of Gigantic Rage introduces players to multi-colored spells. These spells (some of which are foil), because they are multi-color, can do a variety of nasty things to an opponent. For instance, allowing you to put one of your opponent's (non-evolution) creatures from the battle zone into their shields.
- Wave Striker is a new creature type that when paired with 2 other Wave Strikers in the battle zone, they "turn on" increasing their abilities and/or gaining power.
