Comics On TV: 6 Comic Books Recently Developed For Television

Over the years, there have been a ton of television adaptations of different comic books – some of which have done justice to the originals, while others have received some less-than-desirable reactions from fans. Right now, we’re seeing some interesting comic book-based TV shows pop up and we can’t help but be excited that the genre is alive and well. But how fans react to new takes on their favorite comics is always unpredictable.  Some people like when things change a little from the original story, others hate it. And some people are just so happy to see their favorite characters hit the small screen that they could care less whether the television show maintains any shred of the comic book’s original plot.

So how close are some of the recent TV takes on comics to the originals? And how are fans responding? We take a look at six different shows (some that have recently aired and others currently in development) side-by-side with the comics that inspired them. Check it out below!
