Eddie George was drafted into the NFL by the Houston Oilers in 1996, after playing at Ohio State for 4 years. During his time at Ohio State, he'd go on to earn numerous awards and accolades, including the Heisman Trophy in 1995. After being drafted in 1996, Eddie George proved to everyone in the NFL that he wasn't anyone to look over. He won the NFL Rookie of the Year award in 1996. He made the Pro Bowl four consecutive years from 1997-2000. Eddie George is only the second NFL running back to rush for 10,000 yards while never missing a start. He finished his career with 10,441 rushing yards, 268 receptions, 2,227 receiving yards, and 78 touchdowns.
