1998 Fleer Tradition Update Baseball Factory Set (box)

This 100 card update set includes 90 basic player cards plus 10 "season highlight" subset cards. This set includes 15 first time rookie cards.

The 1998 Fleer Update set was issued exclusively in factory set form. This set, issued in November, 1998, was created in large part to get the first J.D. Drew Rookie Card on the market. The set also took advantage of the "retro" themes that were popular in 1998 and represented the return of Fleer Update factory sets that had a rich history from 1984 through 1994. In addition to the aforementioned Drew, other notable RC's in this set include Troy Glaus, Orlando Hernandez and Gabe Kapler.
