1997 Topps Stadium Club Series 2 Football Hobby Box

The 1997 Stadium Club was issued in two series of 170 cards. The Series 1 set consists of only the odd numbered cards while Series 2 consists of the even numbered ones. Six prototype cards were released for Series 1. These cards contain only very subtle differences versus the regular base cards. Most noteably they can be differentiated by the white line of text below the copyrights and licensing logos instead of above. Included in eight of every nine Series 2 packs was a Pro Bowl ballot which offered collectors a chance to win a grand prize of a trip to the Pro Bowl in Hawaii. One hundred runners up could win an uncut sheet of Stadium Club Football Series 2 with the official Pro Bowl logo stamped on it. A checklist for Stadium Club Series 2 was included in every ninth pack.
