1994/95 Topps Embossed Basketball Hobby Box

Featuring 121 double-sided, standard-size embossed cards, the 1994-95 Embossed set marks the premier of a new product for Topps. Each six-card pack contained five basic cards and one Golden Idols parallel gold foil card. The fronts display a color embossed player photo framed by a textured border. The backs carry a second embossed player photo, biography, statistics, and a special "Did You Know" section containing unique information not found on other Topps cards. The cards are grouped alphabetically within teams. The set closes with a silver foil Draft Picks subset (101-120) followed by a Michael Jordan card that was added at the last minute. In addition to the Draft Picks, all of the Houston Rockets cards were given a foil background treatment. Rookie Cards of note in this set include Grant Hill, Juwan Howard, Jason Kidd and Glenn Robinson.
