What is a “Reed Buy”?
Reed Kasaoka is the head buyer of the Sports Division at Dave & Adam's. His primary responsibility is traveling all over the country, buying private collections out of people’s closets, bedrooms, attics, basements, garages, and storage units, as well as complete inventories of show dealers, shop owners, autograph dealers, and distributors. Reed comes up with some amazing finds – rarely seen unopened boxes, quality graded cards, certified autographed memorabilia, and much more.
We have tagged all of his acquisitions as a Reed Buy so you’ll know where to look first for all of his deals. Almost every item is “one-of-a-kind” – so when you see something interesting, don’t hesitate, because there are likely many other collectors who are thinking the exact same thing!
36 packs per box, 12 cards per pack
The complete 1993-94 Topps basketball set consists of 396 standard-size cards issued in two 198-card series. The white bordered fronts display color action player photos with a team color coded inner border. The player's name is printed in white script at the lower left corner with the team name appearing on a team color coded bar at the very bottom. The horizontal backs carry a close-up player photo on the right with complete NBA statistics, biography, and career highlights on the left on a beige panel. Subsets featured are Highlights (1-5), 50 Point Club (50, 57, 64), Topps All-Star 1st Team (100-104), Topps All-Star 2nd Team (115-119), Topps All-Star 3rd Team (130-134), Topps All-Rookie 1st Team (150-154), Topps All-Rookie 2nd Team (175-179), Future Playoff MVP's (199-209) and Future Scoring Leaders (384-394). Rookie Cards of note in this set include Vin Baker, Anfernee Hardaway, Allan Houston, Jamal Mashburn, Nick Van Exel and Chris Webber.
