They're gross! They're disgusting! They're so much fun to collect!
Garbage Pail Kids cards swept the country in the 1980s. Introduced as a parody of The Cabbage Patch Kids, these lovably repugnant, lil' toddlers lampooned the celebrities, politics, and trends of Generation X for only 25 Cents a pack! Nasty Nick, Spacey Stacey, Dead Ted, Adam Bomb-names synonymous with school yards all across America-these cards were traded and plastered onto our trapper keepers, lockers, and-most importantly-our hearts. That is, until our parents took them away!
All things gross and fun usually come with some controversy, and that controversy led to a lot of these cards being destroyed. Add in the fact that the majority of these stickers were, uh, actually "stuck," and you, my friends, have all the makings of one SUPER AWESOME-slightly repulsive-COLLECTIBLE!
Hit Parade is pleased to announce its brand new Graded Garbage Pail Kids line! Each box contains one PSA-graded card, one unopened pack of cards, AND one randomly inserted loose card. Series #1 is comprised of 100 hand-numbered boxes with hits like a Evil Eddie PSA 8 (Glossy!) NM-MT, Heavin' Steven PSA 9 (Glossy) MINT, Art Apart PSA 9 (Glossy) MINT, Blasted Billy PSA 9 (Glossy) MINT, Anna Banana PSA 10 GEM MT, and an ADAM BOMB PSA 9 MINT! ...as well as old favorites like Cactus Carol, Mad Donna, Nerdy Norm, Junky Jeff, and Bony Joanie! So hike up those leg warmers, unbutton that Member's Only jacket, and laugh with the wonderful obscurity that will forever remain one the weirdest fads of any generation...
