Upper Deck Owner Denies that the Company is for Sale

Vivianne McWilliam, Owner and CEO of Upper Deck,  spoke to an assembly of hobby distributors, on-line sellers and retailers on Tuesday during which she categorically denied that the company is for sale.

Over the past few weeks reports have surfaced claiming that a sale of the company was being discussed, however, Ms. McWilliam delivered a powerful denial in which she expressed her personal desire to remain an important part of her husband’s legacy through her ownership of Upper Deck.

Upper Deck recently celebrated their 25th anniversary in the trading card business and are best know for their exclusive license to produce NHL cards and Marvel gaming and entertainment product lines.
