2016 Topps Museum Collection will come loaded with one hit per pack. A box will yield an on-card auto, auto relic, Quad relic and a Prime Relic card.
The base set for 2016 Museum collection features 100 cards which includes rookies, current players and retired greats of the diamond. Base cars have four levels of parallels: Copper, Green (#’d to 199), Blue (#’d to 99) and Red (#’d 1/1).
Canvas Collection inserts feature artistic renderings of 25 top baseball stars and fall one per box. The original artwork for these cards are inserted in the product as rare one-of-one hits.
Autographs in Museum Collection feature on-card signatures. The most common are Archival Autographs with a checklist of 70 different players. Base versions are numbered as are Gold and Sepia parallels, which are numbered out of five. Premium Prints have signatures in silver ink on a black and white card, and they are numbered out of 25. Dual auto are numbered to 15 with Triple autos numbered to just five. Look for one of the 20 different Cut Signatures that are one-of-ones.
Cases will have one framed Museum Collection autograph with the signature in silver ink. There are four styles of frames to find: Gold (#’d to 15), Silver (#’d to 10), Black (#’d to 5) and Wood (#’d 1/1).
Auto relic cards will come with either dual, triple or quad relic pieces. Dual and triple auto relics have two levels of parallels numbered to 25 or less. Quad relics are numbered to ten.
Meaningful Material Prime Relics feature jersey swatches from 100 different players. Base versions are numbered to 50 with three levels of parallels numbered to 35 or less. Much harder to find are three types of one-of-one prime relics, including Laundry Tags (200 different players), Museum Memorabilia MLB logo patch (100 players) and Jumbo Lumber bat nameplates (75 players).
Dual prime relic booklets and Momentous Material Jumbo Patch Relics are numbered to five. Momentous Material Jumbo Patch autos land one per case. Jumbo patch autos are numbered to ten with Gold parallels numbered to five and one-of-one Emerald parallels.
Quad relics feature single player cards with four different memorabilia pieces from one player and four-player versions with a relic piece from four different players. These are numbered to 99 with two levels of parallels numbered to 75 or less. There are also Quad patch versions numbered to five. Legend quad relics come with four game-used relic from one of baseball’s all-time bests. There are 20 different legends on the checklist with base versions numbered to 25 and Gold parallels numbered to five.
