2015 Topps Update Series Baseball puts a bow on the season for the company’s flagship product. The 400-card base sets contains rookie players that were called up and players that were traded during the season. In addition to the base cards the set also has Future Stars, Rookiw Debuts, MLB All-Stars, Home Run Derby, Rookie Combos and Veteran Combos subsets.

Parallel versions of base cards include Rainbow Foil parallels that are inserted 1 in 10 packs. There are also five levels of numbered parallels: Gold (#’d to 2015), Snow Camo (#’d to 99), Black (#’d to 64), Pink (#’d to 50) and Platinum (#’d 1/1). Each base card has four one-of-one printing plates as well.

Insert cards include the final 30 cards of the Highlight of the Year set that is also in Series 1 & 2. Rookie Sensations pay tribute to the 25 best rookie seasons in MLB history. Moments in baseball that don’t occur very often are covered in Rarities. Whatever Works focuses on strange player superstitions. Tape Measure Blasts pay tribute to epic home runs. Look for signed versions numbered out of 25 for all of these cards.

Additional autographed content includes Career High Autographs. These highlight remarkable career-high stats for 30 different players. Jumbo relic versions of Career High are available for 20 players and are numbered to 25. Update Series also has ten one-of-one Strata Cut Signatures.

There are Gold parallel versions numbered to 50 and Platinum parallels numbered to ten. Five of the players also have an autographed platinum parallel numbered out of ten.

Topps brings back the Birth Year Coin and Stamp cards that include a stamp and a coin from a given player’s year of birth. The coin could be a quarter, dime, nickel or penny and all cards are numbered. Five players have autographed versions of their quarter cards.
