Things are back to normal at Dave & Adam’s after spending most of last week going through everything we brought back from the National Sports Collectors Convention. The DACW Live guys have been sorting and shipping out the cards from all the breaks they did at the show, but they found time to share a few for this edition of #DACWPulls.
We’ll start with a few of the nicer booklet cards. The top one features two of the top rookie tight ends from the 2014 NFL season. Eric Ebron and Austin Seferian-Jenkins. Both swatches feature some great multicolor jersey number patches. The Dri Archer auto booklet in the middle has a near complete Steelers logo patch. The septuple-relic Houston Rockets booklet includes swatches from Yao Ming, Hakeem Olajuwon, Dwight Howard and Dikembe Mutumbo.
DACW Live broke two cases of Tristar’s National-exclusive Signature Series product. One of the more unique autographs they pulled was one of legendary entertainer George Burns. Say goodnight Gracie…
The DACW 2 Live Crew took the main stage at the Breakers Pavilion to break a case of 2014-15 Upper Deck Premier Hockey and it did not disappoint. One of the hits was a Mega Patch Duos of Nicklas Backstrom and Gabriel Landeskog (#’d 13/15). Premier has been loaded with jaw-dropping patch hits like this, and has really caught the attention of hockey collectors this summer.
This might not have been the biggest Odell Beckham, Jr.hit pulled during the National, but it’s still a nice rookie auto from Topps Five Star.
Cheeseheads loved this Brett Favre hit from Crown Royale Football. Not only is it a patch auto of the Super Bowl winner/blue jeans spokesperson, but it’s also numbered 4/4.
The guys also had three huge basketball hits. The first is a LeBron James Year of the Horse booklet auto from 2013-14 Upper Deck Exquisite Basketball. The Michael Jordan autograph on a UNC Tar Heels logo came from a case of Super Break Heavy Hitters. They also pulled a Kevin Durant First Flight one-of-one from Panini Intrigue.
Send your hits to [email protected] or share them on our Facebook page or Twitter to have them featured in the next #DACWPulls post.
