August ‘Hit of the Month’ Prospect Entry #3 – Striking Gold

The wonderful world of parallel sets used to only grace the base card sets with its majesty. Modern collectors however can now find them on jersey cards and high end autographs, sort of like this beauty pulled by Lil’ Nicky D out of some 2011/12 Certified Hockey.

It is worth pointing out that this card is #’d 12/25 (Christmas), which we have been seeing a lot here at Dave & Adam’s. I think it’s Buffalo’s way of reminding us that the summer won’t last long and that we should fear the snowy days that lay ahead.
