2015 Panini USA Stars & Stripes Baseball preview

2015 Panini USA Stars & Stripes Baseball is the latest release to utilize Panini’s licensing agreement with USA Baseball. This set focuses on players currently playing for USA Baseball as well as recent graduates of the program that are now top professional prospects. There four autographs or memorabilia cards in every box.

The base set has 100 cards that highlight players on the USA Baseball Collegiate, 18 & Under and 15 & Under teams. Base cards have five levels of parallels plus four printing plates to chase. Longevity Signatures feature autographs from current and former USA Baseball players.

Stars and Stripes Baseball has plenty of autographed relic content. Jumbo Swatch Silhouettes Signatures Jerseys come with jumbo-sized relic pieces, including bat relic parallels. There are also unsigned jumbo relic cards available. Game Gear Material Signatures are numbered to 99 with five levels of parallels numbered to 49 or less. Stars & Stripes Signatures have 100 different subjects and come with an autograph on acetate. Parallel versions include laundry tags and buttons, and are numbered to 25 or less.

Unsigned memorabilia cards include Game Gear Materials, which have five levels of parallels numbered to 49 or less. Lettermen come with a letter patch from a jersey nameplate and are hard to find.

Crusade inserts make their USA Baseball debut in Stars & Stripes. They will have five levels of parallels numbered to 99 or less. Diamond Kings cards also make an appearance saluting former players that suited up Team USA, including Mark McGwire, Fred Lynn and a pre-NFL John Elway.
