Leaf Trading Cards announces Redemption Programs for the 2018 National

Leaf has shared with us their plans for this year’s 39th annual National Sports Collectors Convention! This year’s show takes place in Cleveland at the I-X Center from Wednesday, August 1st through Sunday, August 5th.  As always Dave & Adam’s will be there in full force and Leaf will have three wrapper-redemption programs for attendees making their way to ‘The Land’.

Leaf’s first promotion focuses on the retro 1948 design. Attendees who open a box of 2018 Leaf In The Game USed or 2018 Leaf Pop Century will get a two-card pack of 1948 Leaf Metal cards. Included in random packs will be a few different parallels with some numbered as one-of-one! Look for cards of Baker Mayfield, Shohei Ohtani, Stephen Curry, Conor McGregor, Lionel Messi, Ken Griffey Jr., Pele, John Elway, Shaq, and Gordie Howe among others!

Attendees who crack a case of the two aforementioned products will also receive a one-of-one Leaf 70th Anniversary autograph card in addition to the 1948 Metal packs. Look for autographs from players like Whitey Ford, Jerry Rice, Nolan Ryan, Mike Tyson, Larry Bird, Lionel Messi, Conor McGregor, Pele, Shawn Michaels, Shohei Ohtani and more! Did we mention ever autograph is one-of-one?!

For pigskin fans there will be a bonus box offer exclusively for those who break a case of 2018 Leaf Metal U.S. Army All-American Football Bowl cards at the Leaf booth #555 and that will get them a bonus box with 12 autographed cards, all numbered to 2 or less! There will be one-of-one Metal Proof Wave Autos (four per box), one-of-one Printing Plate Autos (two per box) and blank-back Selection Tour Autos (#/2) for the remaining cards.

Rounding things out will be a 39-card promo set with cards given away randomly each morning of the show. Look for cards from Shohei Ohtani, Ken Griffey Jr., Cristiano Ronaldo, John Elway and Lionel Messi to name a few. There will also be a 4 card VIP set only available in the National VIP bags – Allen Iverson, Bo Jackson, Brett Favre, and Mariano Rivera.
