Baseball is BUZZING right now between the MLB Draft currently going on (and making me feel old), the Home Run Derby tonight and then the All-Star Game on Wednesday…phew that’s a lot of baseball. What are you looking forward to this Summer?

Lots of shows and my son’s baseball games!

Love a good Summer show! 

Do you have any hobbies? Rec leagues, art, music, etc. 

Rec leagues, art, music, etc. – comic and toy collecting, video games.

Similar to my hobbies which consist of TikTok, Makeup, and Dancing! LOL

What is your favorite movie & why

Too many favorites to narrow down but a current favorite is ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’.

Not even lying… SAME! I may be obsessed with Tom Holland right now too. Totally ship him and Zendaya. 

 What superpower would you want if you could choose your own? 

Flight, that way I can skip airports and come and go as I please.

Well when you put it that way… I may have to switch my mind reading dream to this 

Do you have any pets? (include pics!) 

Nope!

Aw… 🙁 I have a toy poodle named Chase after Chase Utley 

What are your favorite sports teams and why?

San Diego Padres. I’ve been a fan since the 1990’s. I was a huge fan of the 1998 World Series team and of course now with Tatis and Machado!

What 2 items would you want on you if you were stranded on a deserted island?

Phone and Wi-Fi.

– well normally I would say no but now hmmm….

LITERALLY NO. I am passionate about this one. 

What’s your favorite product that we sell? 

Comics!

Do you have any collections of your own?

I have an extensive collection of comics, toys, dvd’s and video games as well as a modest collection of cards.

Tell me about your background with DA/HP? What attracted you to work for us? 

Will Mason recommended me (twice)!

Not once everybody… but TWICE! 

What was your career before DA/HP?

I managed a GameStop and had numerous other less exciting retail jobs. I also co-owned a space at the Walden Avenue Super Flea for 8 years!

Awesomsauce! Great stuff. 

Is there an achievement or contribution that you are most proud of? 

I definitely love telling some of the stories of some amazing Star Wars buys, including one where we acquired a very rare figure that sold for crazy money.

I love a good story like this one… one that gives off some smiles and makes everyone so excited and motivated! 

Is there a particular moment or time that sticks out about your experience here? 

Too many to narrow down, but it’s always an adventure when we are traveling with Mike Carbonaro!

I am sure there is never a dull moment with him! 

What makes you love your job? 

Definitely it’s my co-workers. In over 30 years of working, I can safely say, I wouldn’t trade my co-workers here for any other job!

Why am I tearing up from this response… I LOVE THAT!
