Introducing Dave & Adam’s “Leaders of the Pack”

Welcome to a new weekly feature here at Dave & Adam’s Card Land as we highlight some of the players that had big days around the NFL. Here are the Dave & Adam’s Card Land “Leaders of the Pack” for Week 2 of the NFL season.

We’ll start off with Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers who led Green Bay to a 31-24 come from behind victory over the New York Jets. The Packers trailed 21-9 late in the first half but Rodgers threw for three touchdowns to lead the comeback, including an 80-yard hook up with Jordy Nelson to give them the lead. He completed 25 of 42 passes and threw for 346 yards as the Pack shake off their opening day loss to the Seahawks.

The Dallas Cowboys picked up their first win of the season thanks to running back DeMarco Murray. Murray ran over the Tennessee Titans defense with 167 yards on 29 carries and a touchdown in the 26-10 win. The Cowboys jumped out to a 16-0 halftime lead and never looked back as they overcame their lackluster week one performance against the 49ers.

It was an emotional day at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday as the Buffalo Bills paid tribute to their late owner, Ralph C. Wilson Jr., with a convincing 29-10 victory over the Miami Dolphins. Bills first round draft pick, Sammy Watkins, caught his first career touchdown pass late in third quarter to help solidify the win. Watkins finished the game with eight catches for 119 yards to help the Bills improve to 2-0 and take sole possession of first place in the AFC East.
