Gearing up for a Cause

Header

Children in the Lion’s Den section of Roswell Park Cancer Institute had a special visitor this past Friday afternoon. It was none other than Buffalo Sabres standout player, Jack Eichel. He had no trouble brightening their day by hanging out with them and signing all kinds of items.
Alongside Jack, were Dave and Adam’s joining forces with the people at Roswell to raise awareness. For those of you who don’t know September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and it so happens that simultaneously Jack was getting ready to launch The Jack Eichel Collection, his own personal clothing line. Friday’s event was a great way to show just how the two sides are working together and reveal how the clothes will help a great cause.

The special “Shine Gold” portion of the collection will have 100 percent of its proceeds go to Carly’s Club at Roswell Park for pediatric cancer research and year-round patient support programs for RPCI’s youngest patients and their families.

The collection includes a hat and t-shirt featuring a gold silhouette of Eichel’s goal celebration and the signature phrase “Shine Gold,” which represents pediatric cancer awareness.

Shirts will be sold for $25 and hats going for $30.

“Shine Gold” hats and t-shirts are now available for purchase online at jeichel15.com and at Dave and Adam’s superstore located at 8075 Sheridan Drive in Williamsville, NY.
