Steve’s Buying Blog: Unopened Sports Boxes Purchase in Wisconsin

We pride ourselves on having a selection of unopened sports card boxes that is absolutely massive. Our buyers are constantly traveling the country to buy deals and keep our inventory stocked, especially older unopened boxes. Recently Steve was contacted by a seller in Wisconsin who was looking to sell his unopened boxes. Steve traveled to the seller and paid well over $15,000 for a diverse selection of older boxes that included some hard to find items. Nobody pays higher prices for this type of inventory than we do!

A few highlights of the deal include boxes of 1998 Upper Deck SP Authentic Football, 2000 Upper Deck SP Authentic Football, and 1994 Upper Deck SP Baseball. 1998 SP Authentic Football has become an extremely difficult box to find. This box is only going to go up in value with the key rookie card being of one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game, Peyton Manning. 2000 SP Authentic Football is a very similar story with it containing one of Tom Brady’s best rookie cards. 1994 SP Baseball has also become harder to find over the years with it containing one of Alex Rodriguez’s true rookie cards.

In addition to a few of these highlights, there were also many boxes from the early 2000’s and 1990’s including some earlier years of Topps Chrome Football. All of this inventory is now available on our website.
