Dave & Adam’s Buying Team: Fanatics Chicago recap

Dave & Adam’s Buying Team has returned from its weekend excursion to the Windy City for both the Fanatics Authentics show and C2E2 comic con. Our sports card and memorabilia buyers were at the Fanatics all weekend and brought back some goodies with them.

They did some “shoe shopping” while in Chicago as they picked up signed cleats from Christian Laettner and Rob Gronkowski. The Gronk cleats are also inscribed with “10 TD’s Pats Rookie Record” and “17 TD’s 2011”. Laettner’s cleats appear to be inscribed with the date “1/98”. Both players have connections to the Western New York-area, which is where Dave & Adam’s is headquartered. Laettner was born in Angola, NY and Gronkowski is originally from Amherst, NY.
