Welcome back to another round of The Best Box Break Hits of the Week from the DACW Live Lounge and our team of breakers. Our breaks are streamed live through Twitch, Breakers.TV, and YouTube, encouraging participants to interact during the break and are always a fun time; when a great card gets pulled, we can’t help but get excited ourselves! That’s the beauty of box breaks – you never know what you’ll get and you can’t help but feel a little adrenaline rush every time there’s a pull. Follow along here on the blog as we will be recapping and showcasing some of the best pulls each week.
So without further ado, here are some of the awesome, rare, and more valuable cards from our box breaks the past week:
We’ll start this edition of the blog just as we did last week with the 1st Overall Pick in the NFL Draft Baker Mayfield. Coming out of 2018 Panini Donruss Elite Football is this Pen Pals auto from the Browns QB. The Mayfield hype train does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon as he has has the Browns going in the right direction after a quarter of the NFL season. Keeping with rookies let’s shift (Ed. Note: Shameless hockey pun #1) over to hockey and 2018/19 Upper Deck Artifacts. Our hometown Buffalo Sabres check in (Ed. Note: Shameless hockey pun #2) with this beautiful rookie auto from one of the top prospects in the US – Casey Mittelstadt. The icing (Ed. Note: Enough with the bad hockey puns) on the cake is that the card is also numbered 5/5! Very nice!
Our final spotlight is once again coming from Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby. This card is from the brand new product 2017/18 Upper Deck Splendor Hockey – numbered 1 of 22 with a hard-signed auto and a 3 color, 2 break patch! The Splendor product has made quite the impact on the hobby in just a few short weeks of release featuring a plethora of hard-signed autos and premium material pieces.
It was another great week of hits for our breakers in the lounge. If you want to get in on the action (and you know you do!) check out our box break schedule for more information on upcoming breaks.
