The Buffalo Bills selected Tredavious White in the first round (27th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft.
He was immediately penciled in as one of the Bills' starting cornerbacks following the departure of Stephon Gilmore in free agency. In a Week 3 victory over the Denver Broncos, White recorded his first career interception, picking off Trevor Siemian. He was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month for September. The following Sunday against the defending NFC champions Atlanta Falcons, White scored his first touchdown, returning a controversial fumble from quarterback Matt Ryan for the score as the Bills upset the Falcons 23-17. In a 30-27 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on October 22, White caused Buccaneers wide receiver Adam Humphries to fumble the football in the fourth quarter and recovered it, setting up the Bills' game winning field goal.
Following the Bills first playoff appearance since 1999, White was named the Pro Football Focus Rookie of the Year.
