Blake Stepp 2004 NBA Draft Board Basketball Nameplate (One of a Kind!)

These nameplates come directly from the NBA right after the draft, and in 2003 and 2004 were secured by Fleer. We obtained them at the Fleer Auction on September 9, 2005.

Every year, for a few exciting hours on a summer evening in June, Madison Square Garden, the mecca of basketball in the United States, becomes the birthplace of almost sixty ballers, trying to make their mark in the NBA. When they hear their name called by Commissioner David Stern, they stand up, hug their family and friends, and walk up to the stage and see their name appear up on the draft board.

These are the actual nameplates used at the NBA Draft, where millions of fans are introduced to the next generation of players. Once your name goes up on the board, it can never come down. This is a rare opportunity to obtain a piece of NBA history!
