1949 Babe Ruth Sports Comics #5 Original Artwork by Bob Powell. The comic was released in December of 1949 by Harvey Publications. This artwork consists of 26 of the 30 page comic. The missing page numbers are 4, 5, 15 and 26. The cover art is not included. Some of the lettering has come loose and detached. Most of the pieces are included.
This artwork comes with the original Harvey Publications envelope.
The short stories in the comic are about Bob Chappuis, Levi Jackson, Marcel Cerdan, the Brooklyn Dodgers, The Seasons Top Basketball Stars including George Mikan and of course Babe Ruth.
