The 1997 Circa set (produced by Fleer/SkyBox) was issued in one series totalling 400 cards. The set contains 393 player cards and seven checklist cards. The fronts feature color player photos with new in-your-face graphics that lift the player off the card. The backs carry in-depth player statistics and "Did you know" information. An Alex Rodriguez promo card (P100) was distributed to dealers. Rookie Cards include Brian Giles.
