Magic the Gathering Portal 3: Three Kingdoms 2 Player Starter Box - Japanese Edition
These boxes are printed entirely in Japanese. Below is the configuration of an English box, which we would assume would be the same for the Japanese version.
12 2-Player Deck Boxes per Box - 2 30-Card Decks per Deck Box
Each Deck Box includes two different 30-Card Decks. The first 30-Card Deck is 3-Colored (Blue, White, and Black). The second 30-Card Deck is 2-Colored (Red, Green). Portal 3 Kingdoms is a Starter-Level Magic set based on the Chinese story of the Three Kingdoms.
The Portal: Three Kingdoms set is the third set for the Portal card game. The entire set was illustrated by popular asian artists and based on China's "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" epic drama.
Portal: Three Kingdoms was printed with white borders on the face of the cards. Cards can be identified by the expansion symbol on the right hand size of the middle section. The expansion symbol is a chinese character for the number '3' (looks like a letter 'Z' with a line under it).
It was released in May 1999 in Japan. It was also released in English, but not in the United States. It was only made available in Asia-Pacific countries (although many people have imported the cards from those countries back to the U.S. and other countries).
