Stephen Strasburg is on Fire

Many baseball collectors and fans have recently taken notice of San Diego State college pitcher Stephen Strasburg. Strasburg has been touted the best Major League prospect in the country by many prominent baseball sources, and is expected to be the first player taken in this year’s draft. He is considered to have supreme talent that has some sources calling him “the best prospect ever”. So far this season he is 5-0 and has produced double-digit strikeouts in all six starts. His strikeout total is up to 88 in 42 1/3 innings pitched.
Strasburg is starting to make a big impact on the hobby, as baseball collectors and prospectors are jumping on his cards and the products you can find him in.

It will be interesting to see the demand in Strasburg rise as he continues to garner even more national attention throughout his collegiate season. He has already had quite a bit of attention including a feature article on cnnsi.com.

I have been busting some Timelines boxes but haven’t seen any cards of him yet. I like that product for around $30 with two auto’s in each box. If I pull a Strasburg I will let you know.

How good is this kid? I have heard some concerns about him throwing too fast, too soon, potentially causing premature injuries. I am sure the Strasburg Hype Machine is only getting revved up. Look out Yu Darvish!!

Look Everyone, i pulled his by the letter letterman auto from Sp authentic last year and sat on simply because i couldnt get a price on this no name. when he finally hit the net the card was selling for over 250 plus and still going. i bought auto baseballs for 54.00 bucks from a good dealer. had them psa’s perfect grading now the same guy is selling tthe same balls for 250.00 regardless of whatever THIS KID IS A FLAMETHROWERON CARDS AND ON BASEBALLS
