Over at Chris Cooley’s blog, the Redskins star tight-end shares his interest in collecting. Cooley’s blog is a very interesting read as he has discussed his marriage, eating habits, and Redskins info among other things.

It is certainly pretty cool to see the enjoyment that he has gotten out of collecting, especially the Adrian Peterson Autograph he pulled from Upper Deck Chirography Football.
Speaking of high profile collectors, Dmitri Young’s Baseball Card Collection will be on display at this year’s National Convention.

Before I started this blog for Dave and Adam’s I checked out a ton of different blog websites written by sports card collectors and people within the industry. While this blog is starting to round into shape of what we wanted to do I also wanted to share some of the sites I have been reading for the last few months.

Cardboard Junkie- A card collector that still believes in the fun of it.

The Baseball Card Blog- I think this has become “the” hobby blog for card collectors. Written with a great sense of humor, I really liked to see his readers submittals for their re-designs for Topps 2008. One included a proposed insert set:

That cracked me up…

Beckett Behind the Scenes- I like the Beckett Blog because they have been covering a wide range of topic, albeit not always industry related. It is good to see what is going on behind the scenes.

Oh and one none hobby blog, but it is about baseball and I think it is rather well done… knucklecurve.com
