Panini Authentic, the high-end autographed memorabilia division of Panini America, donated this rare pair of autographed Kobe Bryant shoes as the headline item in the annual 2012 Industry Summit Silent Auction and Dave & Adam’s came away the winner!  Now Dave & Adam’s is using them as a giveaway as well!

The extremely rare Nike ID Zoom VI shoes utilize a design created exclusively for Bryant through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Bryant wore one pair of the shoes on March 8, 2011, while scoring 26 points in a 101-87 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. Although the shoes that were donated to the Industry Summit Silent Auction weren’t worn in a game, both shoes are autographed by Bryant and carry an approximate value of between $1,500 and $2,000 according to Panini Authentic’s Brian Bayne.

It should be noted that Panini Authentic owns the pair Bryant wore in that game against Atlanta, and those shoes are available for sale on the Panini Authentic website.

Panini is also producing a limited edition version of Tim Tebow’s first rookie cards, featuring a picture of Tebow taken on draft night, when the quarterback was taken 25th overall in the First Round by the Denver Broncos.

The limited edition Tebow card certainly adds some buzz to this year’s Prestige, which delivers 4 autograph or memorabilia cards per box. Prestige is scheduled to release on May 12th.

Panini is offering the collector who uncovers the NFL 2009 Limited Pro Bowl Combo Materials card featuring Super Bowl quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Drew Brees (sequentially numbered #44 of 100), the chance to trade the card in for one box of every Panini NFL trading card released in 2010 and an exclusive Manning-Brees card sequentially numbered #1-of-1. Based upon the current production schedule, the collector will receive 10-15 products with a retail value of more than $1500.
