09 SP Authentic Baseball delivers 3 autographs per box including 2 by the letter signed patch cards. SP Authentic Baseball also contains the autographed Future Watch rookie card of #1 rated prospect Matt Wieters. Another highlight of the product is the chance at getting a 1993 UD SP Derek Jeter Rookie Card Buyback Autograph. The always popular SP Authentic Football is now on the minds of many football card collectors as Upper Deck released preliminary images for the product on its facebook page. This extremely sharp looking Mark Sanchez 1/1 was just one of the initial designs.

Panini has released preliminary information for their upcoming 2009 Prestige Basketball. Included in the product will be autographed rookie cards of #1 pick Blake Griffin.

In the Game Released 1972: The Year in Hockey. The product delivers on great looking base cards and collectors can also find cut signature cards commemorating 1972 -The Year in Sports, Music, Television, Movies, and Politics.

From a new product perspective, its a big week for Topps Chrome Football. This product just released and is on fire. Next week look for Bowman Chrome Baseball and Upper Deck Goodwin Champions Baseball to make a big splash.

Contenders Baseball will also feature the first edition of Contenders Basketball rookie cards, including OJ Mayo, Derrick Rose and Michael Beasley.

1) White House Puppy redemption card — 1 per case. There is tremendous interest in this but the Obama’s will not make their selection for a few months from now. When they do, we’ll mail the actual puppy card to those lucky enough to pull the redemption card.

2) Obama High School Basketball card — 2 per case. Featured in a Topps vintage basketball design from 1978, with a photo of Barack Obama in his Hawaii-based High School basketball uniform.

3) Foil Stamped Parallels — 2 per 24 packs. There will be an Inaugural, commemorative foil stamp added to the existing base cards, as an extra chase enhancement.

4) Silver Foil Sticker Parallels — 8 per 24 packs.

The UFC is certainly the leader in the industry of Mixed Martial Arts, as evidenced by the stars of the sport, event ratings, and the popular UFC show on the spike network. It will be very interesting to see if existing collectors take interest in the trading card series, which will include pieces of memorabilia such as match-used glovs and pieces of the UFC Octagon.
